About Our Food
Our menu is beyond the biggest in Christchurch and we have some real Kiwi flavoured meats such as Paua, Wild Pork, Wild venison and Ostrich.

We also have a yummy entree of Crocodile as well as any other exciting dishes. We also serve usual meats such as chicken, beef and pork.

About Abalone
Something you do not see in many restaurants is our 3 metre long saltwater aquarium its quite a master piece.

This restaurant has had a quarter of a million dollars spent to upgrade everything. We are hoping to extend from 70 seats to 120 seats.

We have many functions happen here. We can join the tables together for more than 30 people in a single line and cater for up to 70+ people in house.

We can also supply large takeaway orders with notice.

At Abalone Thai Restaurant we offer a very fine authentic Thai dining experience. Our Thai waitresses are all dressed in authentic Thai restaurant uniforms and have many years of waitress experience to insure you enjoy dinning with us.

Our Thai chefs have more than 40 years of cooking experience between them all and cook your food to your request.
