Ashburton Aviation Museum

Location: New Zealand / South Island / Ashburton

Ashburton has a strong aviation history, being a training base (No 2 EFTS) in World War 2 when there were 50 Tiger Moths based here. There are over 20 aircraft on display in the two Museum Buildings plus a workshop. We have probably the largest collection of "Classic" Jets in NZ including a Falklands Vet GR3 Harrier Jump Jet. Admission Fee: $10
Open: 1pm to 3pm daily.
Wednesday & Saturday 10am to 3pm.
