Welcome to Coromandel Colonial Cottages Motel
Situated in Coromandel Town with its rich heritage, this historical property is close to the Town Centre and Driving Creek Railway. The homestead was built in 1876 for the local goldmine manager and then was sold to the Coromandel Hospital Board. Past residents include the famous English writer Fay Weldon. In later years individual replica miners cottages were built in a village-like setting at the rear of the house to create a unique, motel complex rich in character.
Grant and Jeanette are the new owners. They enjoy meeting people and will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide dining and sightseeing options for a great holiday.
