Set amongst native trees and bushes for that perfect getaway feel, Sunflower lodge is a recently refurbished homely hostel providing quality budget accommodation only a short stroll from the city and its many attractions.

Located next to the Te Henui Walkway enjoy scenic bush views, native birdsong and the rippling of the Te Henui river while being close to New Plymouth city action and attractions, including the award winning Coastal Walkway, Taranaki's favourite museum Puke Ariki, Art Galleries such as the Govett Brewster and plentiful shopping, cafes and bars.

We welcome all guests and are flexible with requests, so whether you're a backpacker, long-term guest or a visiting group we can accommodate you. We've even hosted wedding receptions, family reunions, national and international sports teams and school groups so there's no request too big or small.
