All units have 50+ SKY channels and FREE wireless internet. Kitchen facilities including rangette, microwave, fridge, (fridge/freezer in the 1 bedroom units) and a shower in the bathroom. Telephone, electric blankets, heating, hairdryer, iron and ironing board in all units. Portacots are available on request, please book before arrival and check-in. Each unit has one off street carpark. There are laundry facilities available for guests to use during their stay.

At our other motel, 16 Northgate Motor Lodge (just 2 minutes drive away) we have a gorgeous SPA POOL that guests at The Strand Motel are more than welcome to use. We do suggest that you call in advance to book a time you’d like to use the spa pool. This avoids disappointment when spa pool is busy and allows you to choose a time that suits you. The spa pool is open until 9pm, the key and spa towels are collected from reception at !6 Northgate Motor Lodge, 16 Northgate, New Plymouth.
