Olive has being serving quality food to Wellingtonian’s for almost two decades. Olive is owned by Head Chef Jamie Morgan and brothers Ferdi & Carlo Petagna. All three are born and bred Wellingtonian’s who met at the Petagna’s first venture Fratelli in Blair Street.
Jamie trained in Wellington under Rex Morgan and went on to cook at multiple hatted restaurants in Australia for almost a decade before returning home to team up with the brothers.
All three are hands on in the business ensuring the ultimate dining experience at Olive.
For our food we honour the seasons and choose quality ingredients from as close to home as possible. We take traditional French and Italian cooking styles and give them our own modern twists.
As well as breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner you’ll find an eclectic mix of cakes & savouries to eat in or takeaway beautifully displayed on our French Antique counter top. For the afternoons we offer a delicious snack menu that is matched perfectly to our boutique wine and craft beers, perfect for relaxing in our garden oasis out the back.
We serve quality hand made food for breakfast & lunch from 8am Monday to Friday and dinner from 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday. On the weekends we’re brunching it up from 8 till 3.
