NZ's only full time professional comedy club was opened in October 1997 situated in the heart of Auckland's entertainment precinct at 321 Queen Street.

The original design and layout of the Classic is based on some of the most successful clubs in the USA and the UK, so not surprisingly, many of the international acts that have played The Classic have had nothing but praise for the atmosphere and audiences.

The regular 'week of it' includes Monday night Raw Comedy for new faces.
Fresh comedy on Big Wednesday with 10 comedians for $15.
Thursday Pro Nights featuring a combination of headline acts, rising stars and the best new faces.
On the Weekend we have 2 shows each night with the Comedy Allstars at 7:30pm on Fri & Sat and Late & Live shows at 10pm.
