We’d love you to come and stay. Whether you’re in Palmerston North for business, pleasure or to study…

When we used to look for accommodation, we always wanted somewhere clean, a motel where we felt welcome, and a place where we could relax. So when we took over the Fitzherbert Castle, we wanted to create just the sort of motel we’d have loved. And every week clients are telling us that our plan has worked.

If you’re looking for a motel in Palmerston North for leisure, we’ll give you the chance to relax:
You’ll have a good-sized room with a lovely, comfortable bed. Small touches will help you settle in, such as Fairtrade coffee and a bowl of chocolates in every room. Unwind in your room with over 50 Sky channels to choose from on your own 32” LCD TV.
You can go for total relaxation by booking a room with its own spa bath.
You can choose to have a terrific breakfast brought straight to your room.
Grab nibbles from our in-room snack bars
We can help you get the best out of the area with ideas on what to do, and where to go
