The Pepper Tree Hostel is situated in a 100 year old villa with high ceilings and plenty of space. It is conveniently located within a 2 minute walk to town. There is a secluded outside area where you can enjoy hearing the birds sing or just relax in the sun. Follow the green boots up the path to the front door. Hosts Cherie and Dennis started the hostel in 1991 and live on site. Cherie's Art work is on display throughout the hostel.

Dennis runs a Motor Racing Team and works out of the garage.You can often see a couple of Formula First Racing cars on the drive way. Check out www.sabremotorsport.co.nz if you would like to see more.
