Riverton Beachfront B & B welcomes you to our gorgeous corner of New Zealand. If you live in NZ or you are a visitor from overseas planning a visit, you will love this part of New Zealand. It is quiet, rural, and a beautiful port town. It is worth a visit for the early morning photo opportunities alone, as well as the chance to see local countryside and eat food sourced locally at our cafe/restaurants close by.

A unique aspect of our property is the closeness of the beach, found at the end of the garden. The water is shallow and we have the best beach in Southland in front of us. There is intrepid surf all year round in the bay, but the water does warm up in the summer as it is very shallow, so swimming is a really safe pleasure. Breakfast is eaten upstairs looking out over the bay which looks different every day with the changes of mood of the water, light and clouds.

We offer a quiet, comfortable welcoming place to stay. The rooms are sophisticated, peaceful and romantic. The breakfast is excellent and as big as a traveller might like, with a selection of fruits and cereals, cooked course, breads, toppings and hot drinks.
