Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation is located on the Takaka Hill between Tasman Bay (Nelson and Motueka) and Golden Bay (Takaka and Collingwood), in the Northwest of New Zealand's South Island.

Our small farm is 700 metres above sea level in a unique karst landscape of weather worn marble outcrops and young native bush.

There is mystique and magic here especially as the cloud drifts through, but also as the setting sun highlights the layers of mountains across the bay.

Filmmaker, Peter Jackson has shot scenes locally for his award winning Lord of the Rings series and recently for the wonderful characters that appeared in J. R. R. Tolkien's book, The Hobbit.
