You can be walking up Mt Arthur in the Kahurangi National Park within the hour - climb the mountain and on a clear day enjoy views to Farewell Spit.
Experience local wineries and our colourful Sunday market or pop down to Nelson for the Saturday Market.

The Nelson and Tasman regions have it all - beaches, rivers, mountains, vineyards, artisans, cafes and restaurants.

Or why not take the beautiful drive over Takaka Hill (New Zealand's longest) and enjoy the views on the way. Spend the day in Golden Bay and return to your comfortable B&B here in Motueka.

Take a cruise, jump out of a plane, try sea kayaking, taste some wine, go fishing, or walk one of the many tracks.

If you're a serious tramper or hiker use us as a base and explore some of the multi-day tracks in the area. You can even walk to the South Island's West Coast.
