We are your NZ born and bred Kiwi hosts. Barb is a qualified chef and has traveled extensively to Australia, England, Europe and USA. After spending over 20 years working in hotels and kitchens she returned to NZ and has run a successful catering business specialising in smaller functions and dinner parties. Barb also has a passion for passing on her skills through tutoring and cooking classes.
Geoff has been a business person and has owned and managed a number of enterprises over his lifetime. He is very much a people person and enjoys meeting new people and good conversation. Geoffs life outside of work has been based on outdoor pursuits, fishing, hunting, boating, camping rating at the top.

Spice is our border collie

We have spent a number of years in Waipara and have enjoyed every minute, we now have friends all over the world. With our friendly relaxed personalities and the fabulous food you too will enjoy your stay.
