Ratanui is located in the top northwest corner of New Zealand's South Island in Pohara, Golden Bay, just across the street from beautiful Pohara Beach. The Lodge is set back from the main road and surrounded by gardens and a small salt-water swimming pool and is a terrific base to explore Golden Bay, the northern Abel Tasman National Park and Farewell Spit Nature Reserve.

The main lodge features an intimate Dining Room, Breakfast Room, Lounge with fireplace, and two outside Patios.

To maintain a relaxing atmosphere, Ratanui Lodge welcomes children aged 12 and above. Outside smoking only please.

Accommodation is set in two wings with nine Deluxe rooms and one Luxury room. Continental breakfast is included each morning and WiFi is always free.
