Wakefield Quay House is a heritage villa offering relaxed luxurious guest house accommodation. We are a few metres from the sea overlooking Tasman Bay and the harbour entrance on New Zealand's beautiful Nelson waterfront. This is the spot to kick off your shoes, socialise with interesting locals and guests and take a break from your travels.

Our 1905 colonial villa has all the goodies including the most amazing 180 degree seaviews from our two luxurious queen rooms with ensuites. The house features New Zealand and English antiques and many original artworks and sculptures from the Nelson region. An original rimu staircase, high ceilings, cozy woodburner, polished native timber floors and loads of Persian carpets. The house may be old but this is no museum, we don't offer uncomfortable bumpy old chairs, musty rooms or flowery wallpaper!
