Joya is located in a quiet, upmarket part of central Nelson.

The Garden Studio, a grass-roofed log home, is situated in the private gardens of a heritage villa. The Villa Studio is a spacious ground-floor studio apartment that opens up to a sunny, secluded terrace.

The studios are open plan and totally self-contained and private. An optional organic vegetarian breakfast with vegan and gluten-free options, can be served in the villa or on the main deck overlooking the city and hilltops beyond.

All water on the property is filtered. Fruits, greens and herbs from our gardens are organically grown and for shared use.

The Den is on the top floor. It is a simple good value single room that gets the early morning sun. The Villa Room has its own balcony, and great views over the city. Guests staying in the main house will have their breakfasts included.

Free cabled and wireless broadband internet is available in each room. Restaurants, cafés and galleries are just a short stroll away.

For backpackers: the bus depots are relatively close. However, let us know when to expect you and a pick-up can often be arranged.
