Visit our wonderful visitors centre and working miners hut. Go on historic tours, tramp or hire a bike or rod and go fishing. You can go swimming in the river or in our local heated indoor pool, gold pan, or just relax and take in the rich histories of the local gold and coal mining industries. Come and borrow a gold pan, pack a lunch and check out the great West Coast Scenery: you will love it!
A guest only entrance will take you upstairs to 3 guest bedrooms, each with their own heating, luxurious beds and quality linen and huge picture windows which have the best views in town. For your added comfort an HRV clean air system has been installed throughout QUARTZ LODGE.
Your large and well appointed guest only lounge/ dining room has a complimentary variety of teas and coffee and SKY television. A full cooked and/or continental breakfast is included, and with extras to surprise you, you won’t go hungry.
A laundry service is available on request and evening meals and/or cut lunches can be provided by prior arrangement.
