Addington City Motels is opposite the Horncastle Arena. (Formerly called the CBS Canterbury Arena,) Addington Racecourse and, of course, the new AMI Stadium, official home of the Crusaders.

We are the only motel with ground-floor units that is close to the railway station and Addington shops, restaurants and bars. Being a single-storey motel there is no climbing of stairs or noise from upstairs units. We meet the train on arrival, so there is no having to phone and wait for a shuttle. Please book in advance though.

We offer a free courtesy shuttle to and from the railway station for the TranzAlpine & TranzCoastal Trips.

The Court Theatre, Pioneer Stadium, Christchurch Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Hillmorton Hospital, Hagley Park, Westfield Shopping Mall and the netball courts are nearby. We are surrounded by local restaurants and bars.

Christchurch city centre is just 2.5km away. Bus stops are close to the motel and run into the city and back every 15 minutes.

The airport is just a 15-minute drive.

There is a free courtesy shuttle to and from the casino in the city centre (provided by Christchurch Casino).
