Jeff and Naomi own and operate CentrePoint on Colombo Motel. They live onsite with their 2 sons. One son owns, loves, spends all his money on, and enjoys talking about the 1967 Austin Mini you'll see in the car park. The other is a keen skateboarder and has a sign on the counter saying "I am collecting coins from around the world."

Jeff grew up in Christchurch but has also spent many years living in Japan. Naomi came to love Christchurch while here as a student. Now back from Japan, their combination of international experience and local knowledge has allowed them to develop their distinct "friendly Kiwi-Japanese management" style of hospitality which has been recognised and so named in Lonely Planet and also recognised by Trip Advisor's Travellers' Choice Awards, winning in the Best Service Awards 4 years straight, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
