The Grand is steeped in history, from her gracious balconies fit for a queen in 1954, to her ornate ceilings in her vintage wings. Our Focus is a boutique personalised service direct to you ensuring your stay is the most gracious and comfortable it can be.

We are currently under renovation and this is a primary time to grow with us as we progress into the 21st century while being sympathetic to her heritage, retaining and recycling as many original features as possible.

Our mix of modern vintage wall coverings, luxury carpet, and therapeutic queen beds will ensure your stay is memorable in our Boutique rooms.
Our First floor Lounge has exclusive use to our boutique guests, where you can entertain your guests, or simply enjoy and relax in the comfort of the lounge.

Our weekly accommodation provides a mix of double and single rooms, available long mid or short term. Every room in the Grand has an ensuite.

Backpackers/Flashpackers are a large portion of our business, 2 people to a room, each with an ensuite.

Our central location ensures easy access to local services, Eve Poole Library, Southern Institute of Technology, Invercargill City Council, major retail shops.

Dee Street is located on the Main Route to Queenstown one way and Bluff/Stewart Island.
