The Portsider is a Public Bar conveniently situated on George Street, the main street of Port Chalmers. Port Chalmers is twelve kilometres or about twenty minutes drive from the Octagon Dunedin. Here you will find tasteful decor, a log burner and of course a great selection of craft beers and many other good things to eat and drink.
Our well appointed bar provides a welcoming atmosphere for friends, family, locals and travellers. Our emphasis is on craft beers and fresh simple food. We make our own breads, sauces and condiments and hand cut chips.
Our off licence - The Portsider Tap Room is open daily from opening until 10pm. All of our tap beers are available on flagon fill. Along with our tap beers we have a selection of bottled beer, wine and spirits.
