Since opening early in 2009, No.7 Balmac has become a firm favourite with Dunedin locals and visitors alike.

No.7 Balmac is a neighbourhood restaurant specialising in Modern NZ Cuisine, with a European flavour, where quality, freshness and locality of ingredients are of highest priority.

We are nestled in the suburb of Maori Hill an easy 5mins drive from the city center or meander through the historic buildings up the hill to Balmacewen Rd.

At No.7 Balmac we have our own kitchen-garden supplying us with the freshest of herbs and greens, a wine list that champions wines from Otago as well as further afield, our very own baker and as much dairy, poultry, and meats we can source from other local suppliers.

These are the same ideas at the heart of the No.7 Balmac kitchen: that fresh, local and untampered with is always best.
