The Point Sheep Shearing Show situated 4km from Kaikoura town Centre on the way to Kaikoura's famous Seal Colony.

Our daily show gives you a true taste of New Zealand Sheep Shearing in action. Feed "Ram-man" our Drysdale Ram (who is very photogenic); he eats out of your hand. Taking place in an authentic Kiwi Shearing Shed you will experience this Traditional Sheep Shearing Show which includes a sheep being shorn, wool being sorted and pressed, followed by a general discussion giving information on sheep shearing, wool types, sheep breeds, tools and equipment of the past.

During spring you can hold and feed a lamb.
