We are located on the waterfront looking directly out over popular South Bay with its fishing village atmosphere.
Access to the Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway to the seal colony is only metres away, and we have kayaks available for you to explore the bay.
Across the road from us is a small boat ramp, which does mean that we can have boat trailers parked there during the daytime only, it is very quiet at night.
We feel that this adds to your experience of life here in our community as you can experience first hand the activities of the locals as they head out cray fishing and fishing.
The view is ever changing and there is always something to see, but it is still quiet enough to enjoy an evening walk along the foreshore and take in our incredible sunsets.
The "Waterfront" Has one bedroom with a queen bed and a double sofa bed in the kitchen/lounge area which will sleep a third person comfortably- possibly room for a fourth as it is a sofa bed! A large double glazed glazed sliding door leads to a courtyard BBQ area with the foreshore directly in front of the unit, perfect for that evening wine or a sunny breakfast watching the locals fishing. Own laundry. $150 ($20 extra person).
The "Waterside" a smaller unit perfect for couples is situated in the garden to the rear and side of our property it has a queen bed only, private entrance and BBQ area with a more limited sea view however it is still only 100metres to the seashore. Laundry facilities available. $120
