"Clockwork Emporium and Café" is a Steampunk concept store where you may purchase a top hat, a raygun, and a coffee... or a Steampunk Tea with a scone and some unique hand-crafted jewellery...

Set in the Historic New Regent Street shopping precinct, Old World Victorian aesthetic meets the age of steam in a sci-fi ethic where rayguns and goggles meet top hats, waistcoats and corsetry. Think a café as imagined by Jules Verne but with all your Steampunk fashion needs for sale.

Relax and enjoy the eclectic surrounds or browse a range of Steampunk and Vintage inspired fashions, including locally handcrafted jewellery from Muse Jewellery Design.

Decorations include creations from the local Steampunk community such as rayguns, hats, zeppelins and original artwork. Not to mention the dread-inspiring "Agent 24" on display in the window, an entrant in the 2013 Steampunk Fashion Show in Oamaru.

The proprietors Mike and Paula have been part of the Steampunk community for a number of years and are inspired to bring this creative aesthetic into the light, with a business that captures the spirit of the genre. Many of the items on display are based around second hand parts and repurposed by them, putting a creative twist on recycling.
