Ferrymead Heritage Park

Location: New Zealand / South Island / Christchurch

Ferrymead Park features an early 1900s (Edwardian) township, with exhibits such as houses, picture theatre, school classroom, church, jail, railway station, lodge hall, post office, printers, tobacconist, general store, lawyer’s office and more.

There is also a large array of heritage museums and displays that are often open for viewing, particularly on Sundays. These museums are owned and operated by individual societies. Their own volunteer workers restore and display their collections, such as tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, theatrical operations, mini rail, model trains, radios, photography and much more.

At the main entrance, the Park has a variety of gifts and souvenirs available.
A lovely new range of items have been added to our stock.

Tearooms

The Park has an operating tea rooms in the main street. There is a range of hot and cold foods and drinks available on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as during School Holidays.
